fs 22 lag and fps drop

need help fixing the lag and fps drop in game been like it since it was released and no its not my gpu i have a gtx 1060 and a core i7 prosessor

A 1060 is not a very powerful card, and FS is not a very well optimized game = not the best performance.
What settings are you using?
Just listing your cpu and gpu and saying fps arent great is a pretty wide spectrum.
So the more info you can provide, the more we can help :)

im running fs on a 1060 i3 prossessor just fine, only time i lag a little is when starting a new map or in heavy traffic areas on my farm

Too many objects on the map can cause lag, like if you have hundreds of bales lying in fields (best out of sight in a shed) or lots of machines in use etc.

Using course play? I’ve seen lags when running multiple machines in courseplay.

Go to advanced graphic settings and set Render rate (last option) to either Low or Medium at set everything else below or at 100% maximum.

Lately, in all these threads about bad performance, the user are all using 1660 or 1060's, yet swear it's not their cards. They can run the game, but experience fps drops.

Low end cards are going to lead to low end performance. Why's that so hard to understand?

But. But. Its a 6000 dollar computer. Why isnt it working? It cant be my computer, it cost 6000 dollars. And its only in 4k, not 8k, surely it should be able to run it...
