is there a way to shred hay bales?

I'm plaiyng the Kiwi map and have the large cowbarn with the auto mixing TMR station added to it. For some reason it accepts straw bales but when trying to give it hay bales it doesn't accept them so I thought I'd just use a TMR wagon and grind up the hay bales but they won't grind up. Any ideas?

Hello. Your question got me curious and I did some tests. As far as I can tell you can't shred Hay bales with base game equipment.

However if using this 3rd party add on you can!

I got the Haybuster from DinizFarms FB page. Pretty sure you can find it on some of the dodgy FS22 sites and run the gauntlet.
