There really isn't any available options to capture video from your game play nor is there anyway to even edit said video even if it were able to be captured. Then even if there was a magical way to capture video and edit it, you then have to think how to share it with friends? Email can only handle a certain file size and videos are just too large. It would be really handy if there were some sort of website where you can upload and watch user created videos, but could you imagine if that were a thing? It will be abused right?
Note: I am assuming this is a troll post, so I am giving a troll answer. If it isn't a troll post then this guy must have been living under a rock.
I love ChatGPT:
Sure, Thorn-Exile! To record gameplay from FS22 on your computer, you will need to use a screen recording software. There are many different options available, but I will explain the general steps for using one of the most popular options, Open Broadcaster Software (OBS).
First, download and install OBS on your computer from the OBS website: https://obsproject.com/
Once OBS is installed, launch the program and click on the "Settings" button in the lower right corner.
In the "Settings" menu, click on the "Output" tab on the left side and select "Advanced" in the "Output Mode" dropdown menu.
Under the "Recording" section, choose a folder on your computer where you want the recorded gameplay to be saved.
Click on the "Video" tab on the left side and select the resolution and frame rate that you want to use for the recorded gameplay.
Click on the "Audio" tab on the left side and select the microphone and speakers that you want to use for the recording.
Once you have finished configuring the settings, click on the "OK" button to save your changes.
To start recording, click on the "Start Recording" button in the lower right corner of the OBS interface.
Launch FS22 and start playing the game.
To stop recording, click on the "Stop Recording" button in the lower right corner of the OBS interface.
After you have recorded the gameplay, you can share the recorded video file with your friends by uploading it to a video sharing website, such as YouTube, or by sharing the file directly with them using a file sharing service. I hope this helps, Thorn-Exile! Let me know if you have any other questions.
There should be a built in windows screen capture app, but i don't think it record audio.
Not gonna lie this post does seem to be a bit of a troll one but in case it's not I am happy to offer this little tidbit of information.
No offence but I think it is yourself who has been living under a rock.
Download OBS Studio (free) for screen capture
One of the best and most pro video editing software is DaVinci Resolve which has a free version which is almost as good as the paid, there is quite a learning curve but it is brilliant.
Upload the video to Youtube, don't use copyright music or else YT will not allow it.
Use something like epidemic sound and buy the tune you eventually choose.
By default:
- Alt + Z = GeForce Experience
- Alt + F6 = Recording
- Alt + F10 = Save last 10 minutes
Load up GeForce & check out the full listing of options.do the trick
Haha! I like the way the OP hasn't thanked any one of you for your help though....
