How to match equipment to tractors?
I'd be grateful to a link for instruction on how to ensure a trailer, equipment, will work with a tractor, or how to work out what tractor I need for certain equipment. I'm coming to the point where I need to hold more grain in one trip, and I'm looking at larger trailers and wondering... what tractor do I need to pull this?

I don't think it pops up at the bottom when you're looking at normal tractors. It might. When you have a tractor highlighted or a Harvester, at the bottom of the screen I think it will say "combinations".

Basically I'd look at the HP rating of the tractor like the others said and say it has 300 hp, that should be good to pull and run any implement up to around 350 hp.

I use the Mercedes Unimog mod and that thing has I think 241 hp and I pull that gianormous field roller that takes like 350 with it. It can't pull it up hills and it slows down sometimes, but you can do it.

Those recommendations for HP in the game are most likely taking into account the power needed to run the implement while still being able to maintain the working speed of the tool over any terrain or up hills.

Doubt youll get a list like that. Just think like irl, would you put Mr. Beans car infront of fully loaded big lorry trailer?
The bigger the trailers capacity is, the bigger you go in hp.

Probably anywhere near 230hp. Those are tractors, not forumla one. For implement the recommended horse power is listed in the shop.

Yes, but if I had a list of HP, like this tractor generates this HP max, and this trailer needs X HP to pull it. It would make it easier for me.

I can't see it. eg. I'm looking at the MUK 303, carries 37.5m2, 6.5t, twin radial. That's it.

The shop also has the option to show compatible implements on certain vehicles. Maybe just the specialty type tractos.

Basically the easiest way I do it, is I save my game...lease it...hook it up and see if my tractor still moves lol.

Sometimes even if something says it's 250 hp you MAY be able to get away with like 220 or 230, but you'll struggle going up hills and such.

At least a medium tractor. It's a large tipper you're trying to buy

The John Deer 7810 seems to be able to pull it, at least at 70% full. Not sure how far I want to push it. I had that tractor when I started the game.
