Platinum edition crash (load screen)

When i will starting a new career, than the loading screen just freezes.
I think any problem with the map.
I've no problems on other maps.

Right-click on the game icon. Select PROPERTIES. Go to UPDATES. Select "Always keep this game updated."

Mine crashes aswell loads my save 100% and when I hit enter the game just closes. All I can see in the log is all the stuff loading no error message or anything out of the ordinary
OK so after some more testing it seems that it is only my existing Silverrun forest map that is not working all other maps loads fine and I can even start a new Platinum map. Damn this is a harsh loss over 100 hrs gone down the tubes

I fixed mine by uninstalling and reinstalling.

Yes. First I removed all my mods. The only ones i had was form the dlcs. and all the new map still crashed. the i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it started to work.

Most likely a Windows update screwed something up.

For me, simply moving the mod folder out of the game directory, along with starting the game without mods, helped. After I copied the mod folder back into the game folder, the game started again and the saves were loadable again.
