Forest Mulcher
Is there any point in using a Forest Mulcher other than to remove stumps and annoying bushes ?

Like you said….Mostly to remove stumps, remove ground cover/bushes, but also can be I used to chop small bits left over after processing. I personally like to sell every bit of wood.

Some modded mulchers may collect wood chips. A big enough pile may give some extra needed cash.

If your playing the game in a kinda role play way than yes that's what mulchers do in real life too. Otherwise use the Lumberjack mod to remove stumps, some plants and bushes can be 'painted' out using the Landscape mode. Also you can paint out the gravel left from pulverising the rocks.

If I use the mulcher and it goes down to dirt will grass and bushes eventually grow back on their own? or do I have to plant them?

Mulching down to dirt creates a new field in the cultivated stage. Its like plowing with "Allow Create Fields" on but is always enabled.

It's super annoying but you can plant grass on the mulched/cultivated area to fill it in.
