Location of Platinum Expansion files for editing

Can't find the Silverrun Forest map files, vehicles files, etc for editing. Did find the "forestry pack dlc" file but it must be encrypted so you have no access. Can't believe we are locked out of modding the new map and all the new vehicles?

Its sadly always been that way and i doubt they will ever change it.

It's a paid DLC. If they made it accessible it would end up on download sites.

Some mods will cause it. I know the firewood mod does and ive seen some others say a few other mods might do it too. So look at every mod that has something to do with logging, and work your way thru them.

That is normal with paid DLCs from Giants, they encrypt the files so they cannot be shared on mod sites.

Well there's some modders that already managed to do things for the new productions. So I guess the info is out there somehow. Always the same all same old same old. Pirates gets life easy, and the legitimate customer get's the short end of the stick

You dont have to "pirate" anything in order to make a mod that can use and produce the stuff from the DLC.

Ya Randy is right. You can use the content from the forestry pack and mod it into a different map or something, but you can't actually edit, modify, or replace the files in a paid DLC for legal reasons, obviously.

Actually, it is legal to modify and edit files in a paid dlc so long as they're not reuploaded. This does depend on the country you live in however.
