Stuttering
RTX 4090 and i9 13900k and still suffers from stuttering. I’ve set game priority to high, deleted shader cache, and ran around the map over an hour with no luck on resolving the issue.

What resolution are you playing at? I had same issue, still have but not that noticeable.. I change my monitor, from FHD to 1440p, and my gameplay is better. I have r7 5800x3d now, but I used r7 3800x, and I have rtx 3070ti 8gb.

But the games engine is still the same ♥♥♥♥, no matter what specs your pc has.

Nvidia default shader cache size is 1 GB. You may want to try increasing that to see if it helps. It's in Nvidia Control Panel Global Settings. It helped me on another game with my RTX3080.

This just helped me out a lot. Thanks.

FS22 needs a second to register an load its shaders. Let it run its course it will start smoothing out after 10min and it wont happen again unless you make a new game or change your graphics settings.

Shader cache is set to unlimited. I’ve left the game running for over an hour it never clears up.

Try setting it to Disabled. Some people have had luck with that also.

Nvidia Driver shader cache builds up over time and consists of several games you've been playing. You can delete everything in this folder to start fresh.
C:/Users/*your PC*/AppData/Local/Nvidia/DxCache

EDIT: I would try setting it to something like 10GB.

This is the fix for both stuttering and graphical artifacts the game is plagued with. Set it to 10gb. You also have to delete the shader cache folder again, which leads to more stuttering but once the shader cache is rebuilt there will be no more stuttering or graphical glitches.

I think my problem is that it’s taking forever for the shader cache to build….. should be done in a matter of minutes not hours.

It took me about 15 minutes for the stuttering to subside when I started a new game, and to be fair this only happened once, the initial boot up of the game on the first map, every other map afterwards the stuttering wasn't as bad or even as noticable.

I just grin and bear it anyway. Play through it, this game doesn't require lightning fast reflexes so its fine. Whenever I may start a new map I always spend a little time driving around to get the shader cache working.
