Silver run questions

I have a few questions…

Do the trees in silver run that are not full size grow? I know I can plant trees and they will grow but what about trees that come with map?

I’ve seen some conflicting info on ideal size to cut. Some say 9m others say 6m. Does it make a difference when selling or using for production?

Old saw mill with lake…I haven’t purchased it yet but I’ve seen people drive their trailers into the lake to unload. What about the train? I see there are tracks and why looks to be an unloading platform. It it usable? Can train dump logs?

None of the existing trees on the map will grow - but if you re-plant at different times you will get varied growth stages to preserve a 'natural' look.

Log size is preference and depends on equipment/mods used. 6m is arguably best, being easy to work with. 12m is going to require some good crane skills or a large autoload trailer.

The old sawmill you unload logs into the water in whichever way you prefer.

Once you own the sawmill, all the pallets it produces can be put onto the flatbed of the train right where they spawn. All lowloaders have autoload for these pallets - and will auto-unload directly onto the train.
The train will take logs - have not tried auto-unloading a log trailer directly onto the train, but may work. Containers are probably more profitable.

According to a You Tuber who tested- direct selling logs, 6 and 8m are best. Whole trees the worst. Ive found if you just drop the logs close to the water (on the ground) near the building, they will load into the saw mill. No need to drive into the water.

I WISH the train was able to use the different tracks.

Universal Autoload mod (NOT the current modhub version) will add autoload to the train itself, as well as several vanilla trailers. Including that Volvo forwarder you start with (nice). It will also allow you to autoload the new products in said trailers. (the big pallets , paper roll, armoire etc, seem to be glitchy.

Hes working on an update to the mod to add to the mod hub, so if you use this DO NOT update it ingame (thats the old version)
