I really want to love logging.....but......

Here's hoping for more Auloload/tension belt timber equipment. I can do it the vanilla way, but I dont really enjoy it. The physics are better, but still pretty fiddly. At the same time when I DO use the 2 existing autoload mods, I feel I'm missing out on all the cool new machines. Same with resorting to "super strength" to fix the inevitable cross ups and strays.

I'm not sure why they've devoted an entire map (and a beautiful one at that) to, I would argue, is the least popular activity in FS due to the frustration factor. I've noticed some improvement, but its still very tedious. I'm sure many players looked at the new DLC and thought "meh, logging...hate it" And that's a shame. I think theyd sell a lot more DLC if it wasn't so hair pulling, rage- quit inducing.

Some people like playing "arcade claw machine", and get quite good at it. I'm actually not too bad myself, but as I said, I don't really find it fun. You hardcore loggers have my respect, and I don't want the game so nerfed down as to not be fun for you all either. I've tried the FDR logging equipment and maps, and while brilliant and realistic, doesn't really address the fundamental problem. (physics)

Also....

I live in the Pacific North West, and see logging trucks daily. I cant for the life of me find a logging trailer like used around here. These being the trailers that come apart in 2 sections, with the rear section being actually loaded onto the front section while not transporting logs.
