game save not saving.

ok guys i have checked game files in steam everything is good there. also i have tryed this game saving program and i am planting for like 2 hours finish save game come back and have to do all all over again this game is good . But this game not saving ect is reall anoying and a waste of time working on fields to come back the next day and do all over again has anyone got a real fix for this. this a single player game.

yes it turn out i had my games fs 22 on my C: drive and my H: Drive so i guess the game did not know where to store the third game save . after i got rid of the one on my C: drive it has been working fine.

I am not sure how or where your game is stored. but what i did is was uninstall my game and all its files off my c: drive and the when i went to install it again in steam i put the whole game on my H drive in steam it will ask you where you want the game stored. Then i made sure windows was up to date with the updates and graphics card drivers also wasnt this was all done game has been fine ever since. hope this helps you out.

basically your game and save files all need to be on the same drive. also check and make sure the game is up to date in steam also. check and see how full the drive is that the game is stored to also if it almost full thats a issue also. then if your still having issues its a mod conflict only way around this is to delete your mods folder and add mods back a little at a time.

ok shuteye how about explain your no they dont . because when I first started having this issue I contacted Giant Software and many of my Friends that have been playing farming simulators games since fs 2008. And everyone told me the main game and save files have to be on the same hard drive and your os needs to be up to date and your graphics card and game also need to all be up to date . Once i did all this and moved fs 22 all to one drive i havent had a save issue since .

Because FS22 itself writes it savefiles and mods all onto the C drive userfolder and on it´s own it never would start to write the files elsewhere. And giants won´t tell you otherwise as it´s their design decision that the files will always end up there since all previous farming simulator versions worked the same way.

The only case where the files can end up somewhere else is if you made a folder redirection and that is something you have to do manually on your own.

well anyway my game has been runing and saving fine since i did all of this . So if dino wants to follow what i did and get his game working is up to him to do what i suggested or not .

I have never had any issues like you describe. And it wouldn't make sense, becuase as Lord Nighthawj wrote: You are not in control over where the game is saved. You have not been able to give us your log.txt file and give the advice to update graphics drivers for a savegame issue? As i don´t have a clairvoyant ball here i simply expect that your reinstall fixed the problem, nothing else.

Since the last patch also some players got saving problems when having older mods active.

no i am telling you all if you didnt make sure your games are on only one drive it doesnt have to be c: mine is on my H; drive. after i updated windows and my game and my graphic drivers and moved my game only to one drive in my pc my problem of saving a game ect went away .

Ok Dino let me know if you fix your issue . Lord nighthawk and shuteye are just trolls and poato or console peasant that are just here trolling and not give advice or even trying to help . Also one other thing is to only download mods from trusted places dont go running all over the internet downloading mods from skecthy third party sites. good luck .

Lord Nighhawk and ShutEye_DK are neither trolls nor console peasants. You should double check the advice you're giving others (which in this case was inaccurate) before jumping to conclusions and resorting to name calling.

wizard thanks for the suggestion but i don't want to save to another folder the game for me since day one would not save my game at all and i have fixed it since i am not sure if Dino has fixed his game or not .
