Bio-gas Plant Isn't Paying Me???

Hello all,

I have an issue with the bio-gas plant. I have dumped several loads of silage into the green containers, but i never get any money for it... What am i doing wrong?

The biogas plants are more of a passive income because it's "selling energy" like a generator. As it processes whatever you put into it it pays out for the quantity it's used at the days end.

So, I am still not receiving anything from the bio-gas plant... Do i have to own the plant first before it pays me anything???

So, if you don't own the plant you should've been paid upon delivering the product, if that didn't happen it sounds like a bug.

If you do own the plant you might have to go into the productions tab in the menu and activate the process.

I'll go see if I get the same issue real quick.

Yeah, I don't own it, and i don't get paid when i dump my loads into the green bins...

The bins are always full... its like its not being processed at all... The more i add the fuller the bins get...

I looked all over the place for some sort of activation switch, but i couldn't find anything.. I even bought a slurry tank to see if id get paid when it processes or something, but that was a bust...

For now, I'm just travelling across the map with it to the cow place; so i actually get some money...

I just dumped a load not owning the plant and got paid and it showed up as harvest income, so it's definitely some kind of bug or mod conflict.

If the bins are full it shouldn't even let you dump anymore, so that sounds like something is messed up with the plant.

I'm not really sure what I would do to fix it, buying the plant might do it but it's pretty expensive.

I guess alternatively you could revert to a save prior to dumping any silage in the plant.

Edit: Another option is you could use the power tools mod to fill the trailer you used with silage for as many loads as you delivered to the plant so at the least you didn't lose out on it.

I don't have a previous save... Do i? i also don't use mods, none are installed... I might just buy it with a large loan, since i planed on doing that eventually... what is the max loan i can take? if its 1.5 mill then i should be fine... Ill test it.

Loan max seems to be 500k, so ill have to just sell to the cattle place for a while...

When I dropped off silage bales I ended up dropping them on the elevated part next to the green boxes.

Perhaps you are trying to do it too "right" and ended up missing the sell trigger?

I have tried dropping it in a few places on the upper part near the green boxes... Should i back the trailer right up to the box on the above part and dump as close to it as possible?? I don't know.. the green boxes keep getting fuller but i never get paid.

What I did was just dump my bales along the edge of the platform near green box, was thinking that if I had to put them in the box I could just push them over. But for me they just vanished.

Stumped by your problem though, not sure what it could be. Sorry.

The game automatically makes backups for every game.

Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\savegameBackup is where you'll find previous save backups, you just have to copy one of the earlier ones into the farming simulator 22 folder and delete the _backup2022-XX-XX_XX-XX part from the save name.

As for the plant, it wont let you dump anywhere wrong, and if the boxes are getting fuller it's going in the right place, you're just not getting paid for some reason.

I'm not making bails.. I bought a couple of those silage channels, and i make the silage there. I then use conveyors to load a large trailer, and dump it into the biomas bins and the Bio-gas plant......
