Sleep.

Seems a lot of player are ok with that.

logging or animals

Mow any grass you might have around the farm and collect it, silage making is my usual in-between activity.

Make small deliveries of honey, cabbages etc. Refill greenhouses.
And sleep. Though with the way contracts have been, I do not dare to sleep since I have to be awake 00:00 to try to be faster than AI.

Thanks Tregon that was actually very helpful. Appreciate it. I didn't even know you could mow around your farm. idk if my game bugged or what, I got literally zero tutorial.

Waiting till next patch fixes contrats.

What's wrong with contracts? Besides how you practically get nothing for your time.
Tregon Jul 24, 2022 @ 1:55am
They disappear. That is why I said you have to be awake at 00:00. That is when new contracts pop up. But within seconds most lucrative ones like harvesting will disappear if you did not grab them. They also disappear halfway through even if taken if you save and reload. Gone.

Only some lowest value jobs like cultivating seem to stick.
It was broken in 1.5 and Giants is showing great reluctance to fix it.

They do not release hotfix, they did not delay 1.6 to have it there... I have mu doubts about 1.7 too.

Anywhere with visible grass you can mow. Used to be until FS19 that you could do it anywhere, but now only on plots you own. Makes land with fair amount of land outside field more valuable. Field right north of farm in Haut-Bayleron (?) Is good for that.

Oh so I cant just go around mowing down grass. I have one farm that im waiting to plant corn in and other than selling honey. Problem is, honey sells the most value in March i think or somewhere around then. Regardless, the bees all went away once december hit. So i'm just standing here.....

Only plots you own. Bees keep making honey most of year if not all of it, so just sell it for money. Likewise greenhouses will produce around the year as long as they have water so no point saving up for biggest price. Gives something to do and bit of income.

This is the first farming simulator I've played and I'm just now getting into it? I'm sorry I work a bunch, have a family I prioritize and a real-life to tend to. Just kidding, I'm not sorry, but please do continue contributing absolutely nothing that is beneficial or helpful.
