100% Fertilization
How do you get 100% fertilized on a grass crop? I can only seem to get 50% tops.

Do you mean after cutting, and do you mean grass you've planted or just field grass.

Grass I've planted. I plow, seed, roll, then cut after 3 months of growth, then rinse and repeat. I mean the yield is good, I'm just trying to maximize as much as possible. I turn about 32x 220cm square bales a harvest. I can get in 3 harvest before the winter sale.

The bails are wrapped in plastic/tinfoil or left unwrapped???
After harvesting roll with a grass roller, After that it should be 100% fertilised or you may need to add one application of dry or liquid fertiliser to reach 100%. The next crop will take longer to grow (or so it seems to me). Rolling counts as one application of fertiliser.

oh ok so I do need to liquid fertilize each time too?

No fertilizer required for grass fields after they've been cut, just have to roll them with a grass roller after you cut to get 100% fertilization. You can find grass specific rollers under grassland care in the shop.

Also worth noting you never have to re-plant grass fields, lime, or plow them, they are incredibly low maintenance.

Another thing worth noting is grassland rollers don't do anything for regular grass, only grass you've planted, but the map does indicate that cutting wild grass does in fact give it a stage of fertilization, and it does appear to increase yield.

I used to roll with a grass roller, but I find it only gives me about a 15% increase in yield so to me it's not worth the extra effort. Your opinion may be different.

Odd, I find that having rolled once I get a basic 50% fertiliser that remains and I top it up with dry fertiliser to 100% after each cut.

Never planted grass on any map I've had and the grass roller has always worked regardless. Possibly the map makers provided planted grass but it looks wild to me.

oh jesus am I doing it wrong? Please someone correct me lol. This is what I do.

I plow - Seed - Roll - wait 3 months - Harvest - plow - seed - roll - etc.

Do I not need to plow or seed? or roll? I'm getting confused now.

Once planted with grass you don't have to plow or cultivate again. The grass will grow back on its own. And it only takes 2 months. When it says Forage, Ready To Harvest.

ok thats nice then that takes out two really annoying steps. I assumed when it would say "harvested" that it was my queue to plow and re-seed.

so just roll it and thats it? with the grass care roller not the roller-roller right?

Correct. But as I wrote earlier I don't think it's worth the effort, but that's just me.

Probably taking it 3 months because you keep reseeding. I was doing the same thing at first and then just didn't reseed one month and found out it just regrows on its own.
You should get 4 harvests, May, July, September and November.
