competitive play?
Is it like farming simulator 19 that one can host and other players can join and each can run their own farm? or have they expanded on that? and is it possible to play against computors if you are playing alone?

wrong game for competitive play in a simulation, go try some RTS games you'll have more fun

Which is just a map like any others. It doesnt add anything "special" in regards to what OP is after.

It is basically a map for competitive play, adding a whole series of multiplayer challenges.
