Not sure why you are so emotional i am just clearly asking for advice.. First few mods for FS22 but have made 100+ for games like Dayz where i just upload to Workshop. I had no idea such question would receive such a negative response. Surely if Giants make testing and using its system a priority then surly than should run correct?! I had asked Giants but like clearly stated above i have had "No Response" Asking the community is next best thing NO?
It wasn't an emotional response - like I said yours will be approaching its time. My response was just the fact that you seem to be relying heavily on the 7 Day lead time aspect which fluctuates as well as being approximate and non-binding. Their system works fine, but QA's priorities aren't always free mods where the team has to take care of the game, game bug reports, fix testing, patch testing, and DLC testing. No emotions or negativity here, just an explanation. 😄
The thing with asking the community is that nobody will have an answer... Or rather everyone will have a different answer - Giants' QA is closed to everyone but the testers, so nobody in the community has the information to give you sadly. Different mods take different amounts of time to test on different days where QA also have to attend to game updates and fixes, DLC (where Kubota is on its way, chances are some testing for that and its accompanying V1.6 update is beginning to take place). A simple mod such as a weight may take a matter of minutes, maps can take days, moving the queue length up and down depending on what's being tested and when.
It really is just a matter of waiting. 😄
Any communication regarding Mods is done via the ModHub, so any communication between a Mod Author and Giants is done via that. Giants won't communicate with you via email regarding mods, if you're emailing the standard support or customer addresses, all ModHub discussion is done via that specific team, within the ModHub portal when you log in.
I totally understand. Last looked there was over 300 mods waiting to be tested but i have not been looking at the calendar on a daily basis it that it has taken nearly 2 weeks so far and still in the pending state. I have followed instructions by Giants to send email/message and no response in 48 hours (Soon to be 72) i just find that a little bit off putting. For me asking the community about this very problem has in fact answered some of my already questions. Put it this way i have had more response from Here then any info from giants regarding this matter. That in it own right tells a story. Like i have said before its no real big deal just time i have invested and just keen to see it published. But after all said and done i have two options... I really enjoyed making mods for this game and truly agree with the process of mod testing especially after what i have seen posted for Dayz lol But end of day i think i will call it a day :) Ty for info bro
