Passenger should be core game play!!!

I am a huge fan of Farm sim and have played for YEARS, but right now I am majorly pissed off that the ability to have passengers is being put behind a paywall...
I have the season pass so I have the DLC, Great, but why should the ability to have passengers in ALL vehicles be dependant on buying a brand specific DLC, loads of people are not going to care about having the Kubota brand DLC and so they are going to miss out on the passenger ability in ALL vehicles.....
Those of us running a multiplayer server cant activate a DLC like this and expect everyone to pay £10 for it just for a feature like that.
Passengers should have been a feature added with 1.6 end of discussion.
This is just a ploy to force people to download a brand specific DLC as it has core multiplayer features tied to it........

Give it a week or two and a modder will figure it out and make a mod to add it. It's a function in the game now, so they just need time to figure it out. Probably won't ever get on official modhub because it will undercut their paywall, but it'll be a thing if it's possible for it to be a thing with the way the game works.

Not sure it's possible, think the function is part of the core game and not added as a mod.
Paywall wins, and of people let this happen then we are setting ourselves up for a future of new gameplay features being bundled with unwanted mods to make sure you buy everything 😞

Why is it hated? I thought it was great....the Skidsteers alone are worth it.

Because of the passenger seat is now pay-to-get even tho GtX (the author of Universal Passenger) passenger was free mod on FS19. I am not sure if Giant's just stole it, and paste it into the dlc. It was supposed to be free on FS22, or just base feature.

Completely agree, it's not a feature tied to the vehicles in the DLC alone so should not be part of the DLC.
Imagine another game introducing a new core game feature and making it so you have to download a dlc of unrelated add-ons to get it.
Makes me wish I hadn't got the season pass so I could not pay for the Kubota DLC out of protest!!!!

What's next, add a new animal to the game but you only get it with a 15£ DLC full of weeders that no-one wants?

This is the company that refused the make equipment being able to get dirty, because "the brands didnt like dirty machines".
So yeah. Its pretty much like trying to teach ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ something, its pointless.
The only way they start changing is from dropping sales or from a competing game. And i sadly dont think any of the two will happen anytime soon.

Mistake happens. Just don't trust pre-order, or order one of "good dlc". The only dlc of Season Pass Year 1 that is probably would be worth is Expansion with new map.

nobody has to pay... it was already made! Did Giants BUY it from the dev who made it in 19? If not, was it stolen or was it made on their own (people CAN do that) if it made from scratch ok fine but don't charge us for something that should be base game.. I'm surprised a lot of things aren't base game that Giants made that were not base game in 19 why not just include it in 22? No... they couldn't do that but should have like precision farming and Seasons; seasons is WAY better on 19 than 22!

the company refuses a lot of things; they refuse to acknowledge the hemp is a legit farming crop and is not illegal or harmful; maybe illegal in some places and that's fine that doesn't affect the whole world ;) company also allows its moderators to ban giddly happy whenever they like and allow unprofessional volunteers to run amok their discord.

I made my mind up im not purchasing any of their dlc
