I should add that the AD drivers sometimes get confused/lost/go-completely-mad and that you have to be a bit considerate with your driving (steady pace, straight line etc.) but it usually works pretty well and you soon learn the tricks to minimise problems.
Given how complex what Autodrive has to do is, it works surprisingly well most of the time.
how to hire a worker?
To Rubberduck can you give me the name of one of these mods?
To Mark just unfolding the nozzle will make the trailer follow us automatically?
Thanks a lot for your answers.
"autodrive" is a mod that lets you create courses all over the map and drive your helpers to the destination you choose. then give it over to courseplay and let the fieldwork be done.
lots of youtubes out there to explain courseplay and autodrive.
Using the "Autodrive" mod, yes.
Of course if you have never used Autodrive there is quite a lot of set up work involved - creating routes to fields, sell points, silos ect. (there are a lot of good how-to's on YouTube, those by The Farmsim Guy and Scroft are good). There are also some online guides that are worth bookmarking - here's a good one https://www.univers-simu.com/en/modhub/farming-simulator-22/scripts/autodrive-farming-simulator-22-notre-guide-complet-17278/
It's well worth the effort in the long run as you can automate so many aspects of your farming.
Autodrive is not perfect, and can be frustrating at times when drivers don't do what you want (or just sit there) but most of the time it is a pretty marvellous add on.
