How do i find the serial code

Hey friends out there does anyone know how to find the serial code for a dlc download via steam ? I have down loaded a dlc for farmingsim 22 but can not find the serialcode that is needed for update to the dlc.

If you bought the DLC through steam, it should automatically be on your account. You just need to activate it in game on the screen that is asking about mods/dlc packs. If you bought the DLC from the developer's website though, I don't know if it'll work with the steam version or not.

What do you mean with "i have downloaded a dlc"? You normally don't just download it without buying the DLC or a key first, unless we're talking about piracy here.

And if you mean, that you've bought a key from a key seller, then you've to follow the instructions of the keyseller, which they should normally send you after the payment got verified (can take a few minutes). Either wait on the screen which pops up after you've paid or look into your mailbox, if you've accidentally closed the screen with the key.

this sounds like you got a DVD version instead of a steam.

if it would be a steam version you neednt deal with any serial numbers in the first place.

Steam also uses product keys as well. Many physical game boxes these days just contain such a key and it gets more common to even not add any DVD.

Sorry guy´s my mistake . I forgot i have the serial code on E-Mail . And when i used it again the update workt ..Im so used to that steam save the serial code ..so i was confused to where it was . The problem was that i downloaded the dlc direct from the giants home page ..and forgot all about it. But thanks for your time.

If your steam game has keys, then you see if by right clicking on the game - manage and then keys.
