ISO of much needed Technical assistance

When I try to launch the game a Giants Prompt screen pops saying "Could not init 3D system. Shader Model 6.0 is required." I've uninstalled the game 2 times, went through all of my settings and files for the game. Restarted my Computer 2 times shut it down 1 time. Also it's after hours for me to get on the phone with my IT and was wondering if Y'all had any solutions.

Go to your my game in documents, open FS22 and open game.xml with notepad
Find <render>D3D_12</renderer> and change the 12 to an 11. Save the file and restart the game.

Either your GPU driver is not up to date or it can't run Dx12.

If that fails try changing it to 10, but you should also update your graphic drivers of you haven't done so in a while

Driver is updated. Still no dice. what is Dx12?

neither 10 or 11 would work. is anything in the launch options a possibility?

Shader Model 6.0 is required... you would need to have a 15 year old GFX card in order to not have Shader Model 6.0 capability.

What Graphic card do you have ?
