Where to sell logs?

I've traditionally enjoyed forestry (a lot!) - One thing I've noticed in Farm Sim 22 (at least on the first map) is there doesn't seem to be a common lumber mill area to bring those logs... I found a place to drop wood chips, or a place for wood planks (which is awkward to position logs and sell them at best)... does anyone know if there is a lumber mill somewhere on the map? Or a good place to deliver logs?

Everything I've found online so far seems to suggest they just want you to chip everything and sell it that way... but that'd drive me crazy. One thing I loved about '17 was being able to drop logs in a location at the mill and/or in the water behind it.... I'm hoping there is something similar here.

But where is said sawmill? I haven't seen anything that resembles one yet; Though I'm not super familiar with the map either. I found the bio place; at least that has a larger drop point. (though still irritating you have to get out and select to sell the wood.

I been throwing it into the carpenter to make furniture. You can even build your own carpenter place. Just dont run with products. i been running with strawberries and tomatoes and now i have over 20 of those products merged into the ground and ruined my farm as now i can drive through it. i mean i enjoyed flying but its not worth it if products going to be merged into the ground and become unmovable boulders.

ahhhh, so there is no traditional sell points for the sawmill. basically go to the main map and click on icons until you find a sawmill. most maps should have one. sawmills will typically look like they are placed in larger areas than the other stores.

Right - The issue I'm having with FS22 is the map itself; In '17 for instance, the map tells you "sawmill" or "spinnery" etc.. - I wish the map in 22 did that vs. "sell point" - Thats just so generic. Does anyone know if/where there is an actual sawmill on the first/main map?

Sawmill is southwest of field 10 on Elmcreek....it is very clearly marked on the map, not sure how you missed it.

if you pres escape, and then click on the blue icons on the map, it tells you what it is, if you press space while having a place selected you can even teleport to it.
