Can't sell bales at Animal Dealer (Contract)

Brought all the silage bales to the animal dealer as mentioned by contract. No way to sell bails, and no contract completion...

Any ideas? I also dropped the bales in the marked area (not the animal pickup area). Map is Erlengrat

I know they are having several issues... I can't even get my first crops in !

I had the same issue (not contract). Bale stacks are still sitting there :)

You have to put them where the truck sign is not in the tape.

Can confirm - instead of putting in the corner where the markings are, you need to put it at the interest point in the middle of the building there at the back.

Yes, I can also confirm, drop the bales on the icon. The black/yellow square is for unloading forage wagons.

Sorry, can't confirm. It says "Take the [hay] bales to Johnson's Farmers Market." There, I see two icons. Dropping the bales on either one does nothing. I don't see a black/yellow square. Am I missing something? Do I need special equipment for this? I'm using a front loader with a bale spike...

Ive had bales on a trailer, and needed to either push bales off, or unload onto the UN-grated icon area at Johnson's Farmers Market for it to work

That's odd. I've tried all kinds of stuff now. Pushing off of trailer, even dropping the bales on the icon (grated and ungrated) from some height instead of placing them on the ground. Nothing works.
I also wonder: if you DO need a trailer (or other "special" equipment), then you cannot complete the contract if you chose to borrow the equipment.

Borrowing is an option where the game gives you everything you should need to complete the task. Either you use it of something else that does equivalent job from your own arsenal it doesn't matter and in fact game doesn't care. It is cheaper than doing it yourself mind you.

There are three things that might put you off and prevent you from completing it:
- you misread the instructions (ex: missed a step)
- trying to sell it at different place than intended by contractor (had to cancel one job in 19 where I dropped majority of farm yield to a wrong dropoff place, as I looked for price than what contract was specifying)
- bug (could happen) or coding issue (ex contract checks square vs round bales? not sure if that's a thing but could be - might be considered a bug?)

I had same problem. ended up selling the bales at another place, earned 900 Euro by that, and then cancled the contract, without penalty :-D
