Thank you very much, this worked for me
And I agree, if this works like this, why not make it easier for Win 8.1 users ...
My PC still works great, Win 8.1 is much better and smaller than Win 10 (which sucked because of the auto updates you had no controll over in the beginning)
A little help for those who don't get it:
I have the "normal" game, from the Giants site and also the free Epic version
For both: just copy the .dll file in the download above and moce it to the system32 folder like described above
Than edit the game.xml file in the (for me) games/FarmSim22 folder
I replaced it with <renderer>D3D_11.1</renderer> and that works for my GeForce GTX 770

Well, perhaps for you ... with me it does the trick and I only have a GTX 770 on my PC from 2013, which still works very good
On my newer PC I have Win 11 and with the free edition on Epic games and the payed from Giants we can do a great multi player at home, no problems at all and good grafics
