Collector's edition cd key for steam?
I have pre ordered the collectors edition with the beacon. Is the key in there linked to steam? Thanks

No it is a different version from the steam version of the game. Well that is how the other CD versions of the game have been in the past

Nice one thanks people. I wanted it on steam to show off how many hours i clock into farming lol. Honestly tho im happy either way. :cozyspaceengineersc:

Well at least you can play it without the Steam client and overlay which caused stuttering issues with FS19. The CE this time around also includes both a disc and digital download key. BTW, the game keeps track of how many hours you've played it's buried in the menus somewhere called game statistics maybe? It just doesn't show it to the rest of the world.
