You can change
<openDevConsole onWarnings="false" onErrors="false"/> To "true" and when the game launches or has an error you will see the log screen and it will show any warnings or errors.
While I don't notice any difference with the other lod coefficients from 3 all the way to 10 I still have a circle of death for foliage maybe 100 - 150 yards out, and a circle maybe half that distance where ground textures are horribly smeared, but only ground textures. Those on buildings and other objects look fine at whatever distance. It is odd to say the least.
I've been bringing up the log screen after loading and looking through it, as well as the log txt after closing the game.

Side note, has anyone seen this warning in their log before?
Warning (performance): Foliage lod 1 mesh 'meadow' 'cut' 'cut' is much larger than lod 0 mesh (min/maxY (-0.175/0.082 vs -0.125/0.103).
Maybe that is the problem.
Before bothering the devs with a bug report or a support ticket I felt that reaching out to the community to see if anyone had a solution would be more prudent.
Personally I do not feel the graphics are cheap and dated. Before I started having this issue the game appeared near photo-realistic at times. The game has several flaws, but I don't believe the graphics are one of them.
