Landscaping straight lines

Is there a key combination to keep the lines straight when using landscape paint tool? I'm trying to lay out town streets and have trouble keeping the mouse travel straight. Thanks

Not exactly. Try moving the camera to a direction 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°, and move with wsad. This way you can move in a proper line.

lol, wait to you get old like me with hands that are always shaking straight lines are a real challenge.

If you get the map facing a cardinal direction like mentioned above, click the mouse where you want to start, but use the wasd to move in a straight line.

For roads I plow with a cultivator using gps, this will give you perfect straight lines and when you paint them use the square tool and it is much easier to get the perfect edges. The darker back ground from cultivating helps too. I just zoom in and go slow with the mouse. Its hard to explain but when you use the cultivator first it has the lines so when you paint go up through the middle and then do the sides slowly and it just seems to "pop" into place for the perfect edges.
