FS22 conveyer belts impossible to move

Am I missing something? The conveyer belts act completely wonky. Getting in, and trying to steer them is impossible. Forward is back, back is back, left is right, right is right, and sometimes it all reverses. Nothing works the way it's supposed to. Directions are all over the place, and even moving the camera will change directions even while holding W. Is this a bug?

Is it the small pickup conveyor? if yes, press X to un-fold it. Maybe now steering becomes easier.

When you first enter, W will go where you are looking. If you want to go behind you move the camera 180 and use S to go forward.

For steering use the wiggle-waggle method truckers use to back up. Steering in a direction and if doesn't do what you want use the other direction. Try to ignore which key (A or D) you are using and just get the result you need.

All the conveyor belt have tow hitches so you can move them. Direct control is used for finer adjustment.
