wheat seeding question
Hi, so I harvested wheat in August and now in September I wanted to plant some more, so I went and rented HR4040 harrow and venta 4030 seeder (2 in 1), I filled the seeder with seeds and I got to my field, lowered the tools and turned them on, but nothing is happening. On map the status doesn't change to "cultivated", and the number of seeds in the seeder doesn't get lower either. What do? Thanks.

You may need to cultivate the ground first after the harvest. Possibly use the mulcher and then cultivator for a 2.5-5% yield increase.
Check out farmer cop tutorials about maximise yield bonus for tips.

on the power harrow it says it's a cultivator?

Well I'm not 100% sure then as I generally use a cultivator not a power harrow.

the combination harrow/seeders don't seem to work as expected. for now, you'll have to pay attention to the description of the item in the shop to know if it can direct seed. if it does not say so, you must cultivate or plow yourself first. hopefully this can be fixed because these combos should work to do both!

The OP's not wrong, that equipment combination isn't working correctly. If you detach the harrow from the seeder, it'll cultivate, if you attach it, it won't.

There's a thread on the Giants forum about it. I don't know if the bug's been confirmed by the devs.

its really disappointing that this is still an issue in the game. Oddly enough i remember it working on one map but it doesnt work on the current map im playing, only wiorking on tiny random spots in the field

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
