Server Question

Just started a server, Problem is we start out with no money and no contract. The no money is not really a problem. But no contracts makes it impossible to make any money.

What am I doing wrong?

Start a few farms, You should get money for each farm you create

As Bendigo said, start farms, then join that farm in order to has seed money. You can promote each player within their farm to farm manager so they can buy and sell things. Also if you want to share equipment and help each other, make sure to all that in the farm manager menu as well. Have fun! *note, make sure to pay the loan $$ back later (we didn't notice it for a few in game years)

Start farm in single player or hosted server?

We did finally figure out how to do it with a hosted server. But with our net being sooooo bad and not by our choice. I think it would be better if my hubby and I if we could play on a lan connection. Is this possible?

If you are on the same network, when one of you host a game, in the setup menu under network choices scroll trhough to find LAN. That should start a LAN game..
