how to relly make money? it feels so damn slow.
for me it takes HOURS to get money. an example...
im tired of cheating, buying everything i need and want and just look at it..
so i thought i do as most people say works well for them..
Green houses!..

yay, i brought 4 Big ones.. did cabbage and strawberries i think it was..

Loaded over 70 of them onto 2 trailers. sold them all. didnt get more then round 11k.. yet it took me 30-40 min to put them all up. another 1-2 hours for them idle just to be made..

am i doing something wrong here?..

lettuce is the best one if you going for greenHouses 4 will give you 100k if you sell them at the right time when prices are high + chicken eggs and the sheep whool are the best ones to invest in at least for me cause 1 of them will give you 100k+ each season so if you have 4 green houses 1 big chicken farm + big sheep farm you will get a total of 300k+ each season wich is nice when you start

What difficulty? On normal or easy don't waste time on stupid "generators" just farm. Buy some fields and plant some grain, rent a harvester, profit!

Very odd. Even on hard economy 60 crates of lettuce should have gotten you ~30k at the high price point.
I did a start from scratch on hard mode. Bought cheap equipment and a plot of land with as much farmland as possible. Started out growing canola and soybeans. Contract work helped cover loan interest and operating costs. I used the train silos to wait and sell at optimal prices.

Eventually I was able to buy a baler and bale loader, and switched to grain and straw. Next was a wrapper and mower I could use for silage grass in the fall and winter opposite oats in the spring. After buying a second field, I've started upgrading my equipment. Soon I'll be able to manage working even more land.

I'll probably start on some animals at some point. Sheep are easy to care for. I also might do hogs once I get corn and biogas going. There's good money in selling digestate through fertilizing contracts.

The money is there to be earned, but you gotta put the work in.

The steps below is how I got my farm going without using cheats or any type of mod.

1. Start new game!
2. Select Farm Manager with Elmcreek.
3. Try to find something nice to buy in the used section.
4. Set economy to Easy.
5. Turn off plowing etc and seasons then set one month to one day.
6. Buy field 74-79 that gives you a good amount of hectares. 5.66 to be exact.
7. Buy a seeder I recommend Väderstad Rapid A 800S. Then you can skip cultivating.
8. Plant Sorghum and use a sprayer after to get a 25% extra in yield.
9. Harvest and put you Sorghum in Grain Pool East.
10. Do not sell your crops now!
11. Repeat this sowing pattern until you reach December - January.
12. Sorghum price should now be over 1750$ and it's time to rent a train and sell.
!OBS! If you get lucky the price can go up to 1800$+ !OBS!

Some Facts.
You got 5.66 hectares now.
Each time you harvest if you have done all the steps you should get around 90-95k liters of Sorghum or above which gives you 162000$ if you sell to the maximum price. On a year you get 486000$ do to Sorghum grows on 4 months so 3 times each year.

Your next goal should be to buy field 80-82 and use a plow to make field 78-82 to one big field so you don't have to move your harvester and seeder all the time to hire a worker on the fields.

The thing you should never do is to lease equipment's especially the expensive ones like the harvester always try to take a loan instead. If you max loan 500.000$ you rent will be 4000$ each day instead of leasing for an example John Deere X9 1100. Base cost is 11000$ and you gotta pay 5500$ each day even if you haven't used the harvester and you also gotta pay a hourly cost which is set to 11515$ each hour you use it.

People normally say start small and grow your farm bigger but I don't completely agree do to it takes much longer time to do things with smaller equipment. If you want a really good start just make new games until you get something good in the used shop so you get a 50% discount let say on a harvester or a big tractor then you will probably save over 200.000$ just there.
