Multiplayer driving together.

With multiplayer is it possible to get into a vehicle with your friend and drive around? Or is there a drive with friends mod? I've noticed in the vehicles with more than one seat you can't get in with your friend. ( sad panda ) I would really love it if you could drive around together.

Not possible which is really ashame. I don't know if there is a mod.

You can have passengers, but you have to buy the Kubota pack. If you have the Kubota pack then there is a mod called Kubota passenger extension which allows you to carry passengers in all the base game vehicles that have passenger seats and in some mod vehicles. The people you play with in multiplayer also have to have the Kubota pack and the passenger extension mod as well. Me and some of my friends have done this in multiplayer.
