Cannot remove rock / stone?

I just plowed + cultivated + rolled my fields, and the small rock / stones weren't removed by the roller. I tried using the smallest stone picker, but that didn't do anything either.

Am I doing something wrong? The first time I cultivated+rolled, the stones disappeared so I am a bit confused.

I'm assuming these are small stones since the material from Giants says that plows/cultivators only produce small stones. I've never used a subsoiler so I'm not sure what big stones look like.

Any mods? Sounds like you did right, but I will say this anyway. You can only pick up stones directly after plowing or cultivating, if you do anything else between it won't work. Try cultivating a small section again and then go directly to the stone collector instead of roller and see if it works. If it works, then you can proceed to do it all, if not, report a bug.

Thank you so much! No mods, but I threw down lime after plowing.

Order of operations was: plow - lime - cultivate - seed - roll

You can use a stone picker any time after plowing and before seeding. If you plow, add lime and fertilize then use the stone picker you will have limed, fertilized and cultivated soil to plant on. Then you can use the roller after seeding for bonus yield

The stone picker i use right after cultivating is the orange one with two arms. (sorry i can't remember the name atm) A helper will do the task but it will take awhile, so i usually do it myself by going around the field in a circle. I then use a mod that you can dump the rocks in, and it will produce lime. If you dump the rocks on the ground and need to remove them, the forestry mulcher that goes on the back or front of a tractor will chew them up, but it takes a little patience....i found this out the hard way.

The stone pickers count as cultivators. You can unload them into most small tipper trailers or dump the rocks on the ground and later use a loader bucket to load a trailer and take them to the debris crusher for extra cash or to the mod lime maker.
