So much missing equipment from FS19
I dont understand why Giants removed so many good pieces of equipment, I would have kept all of them and added more newer ones. For examlple, Where is the medium-large John Deere harvesters from FS22, there is a huge jump between the only 2. I can understand from FS17 to FS19 because there were big gameplay and graphics changes

They did not remove it; it will take some time to adapt it to the new version of the game. This is wat happened after the release of previous versions.
Just a bit of patience, it will all return with better features.

Like the classic tractor pack that came with 13? Oh. Wait.

It's mainly due to licensing i remember reading, when they release stuff as an official mod via modhub it's easier to get around the license system.

Ummm, do you not check the modhub? Several JD harvesters there...

Each new release of FS tends to drop some tractors and equipment. But this time, It feels like half of FS19 was dropped!

Sure mod's come and that's great to fill in all the gaps. But I can't just turn a blind eye to Giant's here when they are charging a AAA price tag, Which to me felt like less content overall.

Hopefully Giant's will keep adding more stuff missing from FS19 over time. Or released as DLC.

I can understand a large drop in equipment for FS19 as JD and Claas were going to be new so theye were the major brands, but FS22 had no new major brands that were featured. Hopefully there will be more usefull DLCs this time round (we are looking at you Rottne DLC)

If they bundled loads of FS19 equipment into a DLC I'd say it would be quite popular but people would complain that they have to pay for stuff which should have already been in the game.

Another free content update (or a few) would be really nice to bring back some FS19 equipment

I did read that somewhere I believe, I mind blanked like 5 times while writing the post. Hopefully some equipment will come back as a couple Free content updates.

The only jd harvesters in fs19 were the t560 (avaible in fs22) and the s790 (replaced by the x9 1100 but avaible as a mod on the modhub).
The only notable absence is big us style seeders like the bourgaults.

Bang on the money there. Companies will only give them licenses for certain bits of equipment. The licences don't carry over to newer game titles. Same goes for the likes of JD with euro and american versions. They may get a license for one but not the other,

Yes it's like the music licenses in games like GTA, I remember GTA 4 getting an update after 10 years because the music agreement license only lasted that long.

Yes, I was talking about the S790 which I belive had a wheels and tracks option so it was a great mid/large harvester. And it was intereting to see lots of very big equipment missing like the really big seeders, cultivators, ect.

This is only my opinion, but I feel like they left things out in order to sell them to us down the road via DLC. I will say that the basis of the game is alot different than fs19. There is a hugely more emphasis on field prep work, which I like, but it did take some time to iron out what to do, and when. The patch did change up alot of the wording in the game's help screen, to my advantage.

They usually cut items out of the main release so that the file size so that most people can download it without it taking a few days,., They add the rest as mods or free dlc so people can pick and choose what else they want to add. They will usually only make paid dlc for new packs or special items.
