Do the mods need to be deleted or would disable work fine?
I have this problem too but I feel it started immediately after install even before mods. Don’t know for sure.
The weird this yesterday I exited game and it went to menu once and never did it again.
Thanks
Vehicle Control Addon before version 1.0 rc6
- autoloader mods
- Mods that change maintenance costs
- Mods that adjust helper wages
- mods that change the behavior/cost of the landscape editor
- or any other script mods that appear in the shoals of the untrustworthy junk hosts for mods.
Hard to tell where you guys load your mods from or if it's just from the ingame hub. Either way. Moving the mods out of the mod folder then copying them back 5 or so at a time with testing if this still happens should help you to find that mod in question.
I could not disagree more. I think the future is bright for farming fans.
Here's an idea, post your log and show where it's crashing. Don't leave anything out, otherwise it's difficult to help you solve your problem.
If you don't want to post your log, that's fine. Just saying that I'm not experiencing any crashes, modded or not. Just wanted to poke around your log to see if I can see where the issue is for you. But nevermind.
BTW, not necessarily bad scripts. Official Modhub (script) mods were crashing the game as well. It was the way the engine was handling the scripts, which Giants fixed.
could still have been bright with the experiance of focus developers, hell id pay an extra $40 or $60 for the game if they actually had a half decent release this is the 1st release since ive played fs13 that ive had any issues. the game was no where near ready for release, look how long the 1st patch took they used the excuse they dont want a whole lot of small patches but the 23rd we get another small patch that fixed like 3 things maybe or broke 20 more idk cause i refuse to play when my games not building the shader cache properly and all i get is constant stutter unless i walk every where but i cant sow a feild on foot or harvest on foot i guess i could eat the fertiliser and fart it out over the field, giants have lost my respect after this release i think its the same for alot of people
the thing that annoys me is that none of these problems were happening for me before 1,2 patch, the only issue was a pellet stuck in the ground once and a while but i think it was how i handled the pallet on the spawn point, for example if i lift the pallet and drop it back on the spawn point or slide the pallet on the spawn point it would confuse it causing the pallet to become stuck, i never had an issue it i cleanly picked up the pallet and took it away from the spawn point
it seem giants will never beable to fix issues for everyone cause others were having this exact same problem before 1.2 and now they fixed that it seems like another group of peeps are now in that same boat while the previous group have had that issue sorted it makes me worry whats next to come in the next patch, imo this game is still 6 months away from release and thy need to implement public testing so people can stress test and giants can get it right the first time
giants testing the game in house is pointless with all their high end gaming machines they use, i bet its never tested on a lower end gaming pc and i bet giants dont have every operating system and every variable that could be encountered this is why public testing would go a long way
You know what's more frustrating than a game that crashes? When people complain about their game crashing and not providing any log to back up their claim. Frankly, when someone says they did this and they did that, I take that with a grain of salt.
Sorry you're unable to enjoy the game, however, as mentioned earlier, Giants has resolved this issue as of patch 1.2 and I run several mods without crashing. I don't know what you're doing differently.
