Problem with Mods and Mod folder.

So I have located the mod folder through my games, documents etc. I have downloaded some mods from reputable sites and when i transfer them to the mod folder they go in without a problem. When i load the game these mods aren't listed at all. I can't deselect or select them from the map sub menu.

i have tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. I have also noticed that any mods i download in the in game mod hub they don't list in the mod folder either.
Just wonder has anyone had the same issue and how did they come about solving it.

Are you leaving the mods you download zipped? You should do that. No need to unzip.

Also, you say you've downloaded from reputable sites. Which sites? Are you sure these mods are for FS22?

Yes leaving all files zipped. I have had previous FS games and never had an issue before.

Perhaps try a brand new game save and only try a mod from Giants just to test. If that doesn't work, then I would say something is wrong with your install.

Right so I just tried downloading mods from the link above. Roughly 10 mods.

They don't show up in the installed section, I install the mod from the mod in game section and the selected mod then becomes select-able.

I tried the whole new save game and still no joy. Tried uninstalling the game twice now and still no joy.

Did you move those that you downloaded from your downloads folder and place them into the mods folder?

I dragged them across to the mods folder

In your mods folder, do you see the mods which successfully downloaded from the in-game modhub? Those which you state you can see in game and activate as they should?

No I cant see the mods downloaded from other mod sites.The ones I just downloaded from the in game hub are working fine now.

Then are you sure you are using the correct mods folder? Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\Mods

some mods that are zipped have zipped mods in them , im sure you know that, but sometimes people forget. i had 2 truck mods that i had to unzip to get the zipped mod programs into my folder

Yes I'm aware that some mods have to be unzipped. This is any mod I try to drag into the mods folder in the documents area. It's very strange that nobody else has posted about this issue.

yea i figured you knew, just was throwing it out there to try and help, and yes thats weird, because at the moment im running near 70 mods

Never had this issue before with other FS models. Cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong. I'm going to uninstall it again tomorrow and try and install and make sure I'm doing the steps correctly.

So this morning I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it again on a different drive to see would that change anything. Still no difference and have tried everything to make it work. I have searched online and on YouTube and nobody has seemed to come across this problem at all.
