How are pigs the most profitable animals?

I recently bought pigs but fail to see where the profit lies, does it all come from selling the animals? The slurry sells for next or nothing

In real life pigs gestation period is 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days. Not sure if this is how GIANTS has it modeled (it should be) but yea...the breed quickly.

They need a lot of food, i think cows, not milk cows, are as good, they sell for a lot more a pice but breeds more slow.

But they are more easy to feed, all you rly need is hay, the rest is optional.
Since you do not make milk, you dont need TMR and all that crap. Build big stable, fill with meat cows and have a lot of hay, and over time the cows get more and sell for big money per cow.

In the end it is up to you what you like best, i do enjoy pigs, but also cows, once you get the thing going i dont think there is much difference in income.

EDIT: of course you dont get rich from selling turds and piss, its the animals. Turds and piss are a byproduct you can use to fertilize or sell.

how are you getting to feed the pigs? my mates server doesn't let us feed or water them.

There is a silo with a trigger to unload pigfood. Water is automatically given to them in the medium and big pig pens

where it was placed it was bugged. Me and mate could get the Fill promt if wagon was positioned in a perfect way but wouldn't unload on the medium pigbarn we have. It took straw worked fine
