Give this a try. It worked for me.

In the Main menu go to the Options click on Display settings → press space for Advanced graphics settings → change Post-process Anti-Aliasing from Nvidia DLAA to TAA.

that wont work for him as he has a 1660 which does not support Dlss from what i know.

your only option might be Taa which is not as good as dlss but its the way old games and hardware worked in past. set all settings to max if your system can handle it of course

dlss/dlaa require tensor cores which the 1660 series lacks. only rtx cards can enable it.

how ever Raytracing is supported on 1660

That's why I specifically said to switch to TAA...

TAA is making everything blurry even worse then DLSS does. TAA is crap. I always try to avoid it because it makes everything blurry and also causes smearing artifacts. If you can't handle MSAA, without any AA at all, the image quality is by far better then with TAA, at least at 4K resolution. One could also use nvidia supersampling instead of AA.

Make sure that FXAA is not enforced by nvidia settings. FXAA + TAA and you have blurry mess.

this doesn't make any sence. DLSS causes much less bluriness then TAA. Only FXAA is even worse then TAA in terms of blurryness.

My suggestion to topic starter would be also to check that Anisotropic Filtering is enabled and set to at least x8. Both in game and also check nvidia control panel, it can override game settings.

TAA is fine, you just need to add nvidia sharpening filter to eliminate the blur caused. TAA is the only type of AA that completely eliminates shimmering/flickering

latest nvidia experience lets u globally add sharpness on the fly without the need of restarting games. or u can just do it with a profile trough the control panel, 30-40% should be enough
