Without modifying game files, this is tied to the amount of days you set per month currently. There's a file that you can modify however to speed it up even more however. Some xml file with growth in the name, too lazy to look currently.

Hopefully someone releases a mod soon that'll make needing to edit said file pointless or Giants changes the growth to be similar to FS19 in terms of options when seasonal growth is disabled.

Nope no way to lower it. 1 day months crops will take 3-11 days to grow from seeding to being harvestable depending on what crop it is.

It's going to effect MP. It would require editing a vanilla file, which I highly recommend NOT doing. Anyone you play with would have to edit the vanilla file, and those on console cannot do that.

That’s what I thought, thanks for the reply

For now I found a temp solution: There’s a mod that allows up to 25000x time acceleration, I’ll use that until a proper mod or fix comes out

There's a mod on the official modhub called Better Time Scale that allows for up to 25000x speed if you want to accelerate extremely fast.

Just sleep. You can sleep thru the whole growth cycle and have it pass in less than a minute

While you can do that... you have to click the button for the sleep trigger and watch the animation go by. That takes time.

In one minute at 25000x speed, you can pass through 17 days like watching a time lapse of the sun rising and setting. Literally an entire day passes in less than 5 seconds, looks quite amazing! I just tested the sleep trigger in my game and from clicking the button, it took ~13 seconds to pass one day with the sleep animation before I could move my avatar.

You can literally sleep to skip days and the sleep mod lets you control how long you sleep (even for entire seasons) so it's a non-issue. The grow speed and everything is fine, I just don't think anyone actually realizes or uses the sleep function.

What if i would prefer a three days cycle like in Fs19?
If i'm not using Seasons i should be able to choose a fast, normal or slow grow rate as before.
Why forcing me with Season rate even if it's disabled?

I would also prefer it to be like FS19, imo, FS19 is a much better game, gameplay wise..

Yes, seasons are cool, but not when you're forced into playing with them, and if you turn it off, the growth rate still uses the season system.. This is a step backwards for progress..

Maybe one day, Giant will actually listen to the community, and make the game we actually wanna play.. Until then, it's FS22 is just 'Sleep Simulator 22' Boring, not so fun to play. Thankfully, modders manage to reduce the strain, by adding cool things & fixing crap idea's..

Even looks like the default maps were hastily created, with bad idea's & terrible design/implementation.. Again, modders will be to the rescue..

Well, overall design is ok, I'm more talking about little bits I've noticed, that could have been done better, like fields looking like they have not been 'cut' properly into the map, at distance.. like, when you look at the field, it's got a nice straight cut line.. move away from it, and brown patches appear, at the edges, making it look nasty.. for one..

I also think I have figured out why this happens, but I need to do more tests...

One thing they finally got right, was speeding the traffic up to 60mph.. Much better now..

Hold your hope, i think they sealed a tombstone on the matter:

"viewtopic.php?f=874&t=185235&start=240#p1455098

translated:
We have discussed growth internally several times. A return to the old system is out of the question for us. That means we are bound to 1 growth stage per day, i.e. it takes at least 4 days / months until a fruit is fully grown. However, some types of plants need a little longer to have more "realistic" growth times, theoretically this could be reduced to the minimum, but we don't really see a big playful difference, which is why it doesn't make much sense to change this.

Rather, the idea in the LS22 is that you can more or less determine the speed of plant growth yourself by sleeping more or less often. With sleep, the option for faster plant growth is more or less obsolete."

Deal with it and go to sleep, essentially.
