Cows not producing milk

Can someone explain what im doing wrong?
Holstein cows, 22 months old, they got straw, hay(effect: 80%), health 90%. 0 milk produced after 4 in-game months.

I know in seasons on fs19 the cows do not give milke till they give birth once dont know if giants made it that way as well.

I just checked a tutorial about animals on Youtube to see how different this game is compared to previous ones and that's not the same as you say.

The moment the cows are old enough for reproduction, they start to give milk EVEN though they didn't gave birth yet.
It starts at 40 minutes after he explained all the feeding and stuff. He compared production between breeds over a couple of months length.

Indeed, the cows that are too young won't give milk. Only thing I believe he didn't mentionned is if after giving birth they give more milk or not.. no idea.

Thanks for the info been avoiding animals so far as have seen many bugs reported on them.

they started to give milk after I feed them with TMR. It is all good now

did you have to give TMR constantly or just once? because at the field i just put in some grass and then fed only hay... the productivity was always on 100% because (bug?) the game added 80+40% and grass never was used, just hay.

so when i built the stable, i wanted to avoid using TMR, too, as i did at the field. even if they would give less milk would be ok, but they don't give any after feeding them several years now. and they should, right?

I just gave them TMR constantly. Haven't tried with hay only since then.

I have a similiar problem - 4 cow pens with robot
every one of them has TMR, straw, mikneral feed etc
In one pen the cows stoped producing mik even with 100% health.

We reset all the pens - sold all cows and buy new (10 months old Holstein)
In 3 pens after a few hours :
Health and productivirty 100%
In one pen .. 100% health, 0 -productivity

We play on cross play: 1x steam, 1x non-steam, 1x PS4

30 Holsteiners, 20 months old, 100% health, 20% reproducing, 80% productivity, plenty of fodder - 26,000 ltrs of slurry collected but...... 0.0 ltrs of milk so far. I bought them at 18 months old.

Cows fodder = TMR for dairy cows, incl mineral feed, hay and grass silage to the proper ratios. All this effort and I have to go to the neighbour to get some milk for a coffee.

I figured it out.. Using MaizePlus, so age for milk production increased to 27 months I read in the guide. Looks like the issue has now shifted from milk to cashflow! The joys of farming 😜
