greenhouse water supply

Can you supply greenhouses with water automatically ? because right now I spend my life supplying them with water xD

well yeah I guess it would, doesn't make that much per month in my opinion, at least a way to fill more than one greenhouse with the biggest tank you can buy, you can only fill one greenhouse and half of the a second one... when you have 20 it's a nightmare...

The main problem for me there is the very slow loadingspeed for water.

I think the main problem isnt the loading speed for the trailers...more like the Water consumption is way to fast. Just saying but in real life, if you have such a small greenhouse (yes even the big one in FS is still small) and put there 20000liters of water ...everything in there drowns and nothing could be used anymore. Plants in there only get a small dose of water now and then not a whole lake.

There is a hydrant mod you can place nearby.

But a large greenhouse need about 3000 liter a month. (In my game i have 3 day per month and use ~1000 per "day"(~10 days increment so about 100l per day)).
So with 20000 liter you almost good for 7 month, and that is not bad i think.

If you have to supply water a lot you fast forward time a lot i guess.

But you have to pay when you get Water from that Hydrant same with the water reservois ingame...this little round water tank thing....so its propably still cheaper getting the water from a lake...even when its nonstop driving with just a 7300 liter trailer

You have to pay for the water from the hydrant mod? I did not know that, i dont use the mod.

I am surprised people build like 20 greenhouses, i think they have dimishing returns so to have less is better, or more effective.

If you sell a lot of the same product constantly you push down the price, so i thought i have less greenhouses and sell less product for a higher price.
So in my game i have 3 greenhouse and each of them does 1 product, salad, tomato and strawberry.

Maybe if you have 2 each for a total of 6 it sill works well with the price, but with 20 you probably push the price down to the bottom end of the spectrum... and you have to get a lot of water.

i have no problem with the 7300 liter tank and my 3 greenhouses, every 7 month i fill them to the brim and that is not so bad in my case. I am on elmcreek and water is easy to get there, and not very far away from my farm.

Yes i tried the Hydrant mod because it only said cost 1000€ or dollar and upkeep 5 a day. it doesnt say anything about the hidden cost for the water and it runs pretty fast when you try to fill your trailer.

We have 3 big greenhouses playing 1day=1month and cant really say the greenhouse with 3xSalad last 7 month ...for us it seem to last maybe 2 or 3 month but thats about it...then we have to refill them

What do you mean 3x salad? You can only do 1x salad OR 1x strwaberry OR 1x tomato per greenhouse, or you can do them in paralell i think, but not 3x salad?
Or do i misunderstand?

I did look it up in my game for a few "days"(as said 3 day per month), and i do use about 1000 per day... i never checkd it but if i calculate it in the future that would leave me with 7 month, or like 6.8 or so, month of water per 20000 liter.

You did not use plural, so i thought it is only per 1 greenhouse. Happens to me too sometimes so no problem.

edit the hydrant mod and change the cost from 1€ to 0€ and the refill time to your like, thats makes for me.
