Plowing Contracts question
I decided to take up a few plowing contracts while I wait for other stuff.

I thought subsoilers would count for the contract but they dont. Is that intentional?

Bit disappointing they have not changed this from FS19. Could only do the contract if it was from the plow category.

I can't get sub-soilers to plough even on my own fields - it looks like sub-soilers now cultivate instead of plough.

Not sure if this is a bug or intended result.

I have gotten the DC401 to plow. However it will not create a field, and it will be considered plowed and cultivated after.

They work for plowing, they just produce a cultivated texture instead of plow texture as a subsoiler should plow and cultivate at once.

Check on your main map - soil state - after using a subsoiler on a field that needed ploughing - they still show as needing ploughing. This means weeds will return faster and in higher density. Only ploughs are currently removing the "needs ploughing" status on fields.

I have only used the cultiplpw plat 8m so far for plowing needs and each field that had “needs plowing” was resolved using that tool. I am guessing your dealing with a bug.

Is there any advantage to cultivating after plowing? I noticed I was able to seed the plowed field after.

Not that I know of. Unless you have a planting tool that is not a direct drill unit.
