i used the Kuhn Ra 142. again not sure if it takes grass bales.
the only other solution i can think off is to lease or buy a different wrapper so that you can turn them into silage.
the kuhn SW 4014 should be able to wrap 140cm square bales.
Sadly not. It only does up to 220, i made 240..
I guess i have to just sell all and learn from that mistake. The only baler which can silage 240cm square bales is the Anderson and you have to manually put them into the baler which is a no go for that amount.
yes that would be annoying
i guess the only option is to indeed sell them. and yeah its a learning experience. its generally better to just drive around a front mower and forage wagon and put the grass into a silage bunker anyway. and the silage bunkers at the BGA are free to use, so its not like you would have to buy a BGA silo to make silage. the mowers and forage wagons are also relatively cheap compared to a baler and wrapper.
About the BGA, though. IIRC equipment will refuse to unload on land not owned. That includes the silos at the BGA, which is why you'd have to buy the BGA to be able to use the Silos. Or did they change that/I never recognize this?
maybe its bugged? because i can definitely unload at the BGA and i dont own the enterprise or the land. im not even sure the land the BGA sits on can be bought this time around.
I normally do that but i have read about bugs and bugged silage silos so i wanted to avoid that
Thanks for your responses! Will give it another try.
ahh the silage silo bug is the usual thing, where sometimes you cant remove the blanket after the silage is done.
you can fix this the same way as in other games in the series. you can dump some silage you should save to the side in front of the blanket, and eventually the blanket will come off automatically.
alternatively you can push the blanket itself with a bucket that supports silage, i find that giving it a few pushes when the blanket does not want to come off fixes that problem.
Silage just cuts the wrapper not the bale
