is there a mod to reduce maintenance costs?

Probably won't ever find it in the ModHub though, as maintenance cost and rate of equipment wear works as Giants intended it. Therefor keep in mind, that this file MIGHT be unsafe

you can also edit the xml of the mod and can reduce it to more real like values like a maintanance factor of decrease of 24

Any new mods that can make maintanance more realistic? something thats safe to use and wont break the game or something nasty like that

For paint damages, there should be a way to use the spray paints from the platinum expansion to repaint your tractor because that's how a real farmer would do it.

I think there is a mod, it could be a built in feature tho, but it is a workshop, where you can fix your vehicles for free. Because you are doing it yourself.

One on modhub is called "repair and paint settings". You can choose percentage cost reductions for repair and paint individually in increments of 25%.
Been using it for long while and doesnt seem to have any issues with other mods that I am aware of.

I think the mod is on Giants game hub and is called Additional Game Settings you can reduce maintainence and repair costs to 25%
