As for the save, when you hit restore it'll restore the copy of the backup you have selected to the slot. If it did nothing, its possible you restored a very early copy of the save made back at the start. Check the dropdown list and pick the one with the most playtime as that will likely be the most recent backup of your farms. Just to be safe, also check on the main page to make sure the server is saving to that slot as well.
Error: Could not open temporary file

You should always keep backups on your own computer as well, make daily local backups from g-portals dedicated server. Lucky for you the FS22 dedicated server also keeps backups so you can just restore from them as well.
When you shutdown/restart from the g-portal website you restart the cloud service you subscribed to, not the actual dedicated server for FS22 - to restart the dedicated server you should as said go directly into the web interface for the dedicated server.
If that still doesn't help fix, best fix otherwise I can think of then would be to make multiple temporary farms in-game and pay the original farms back as a sort of recovery fund from the temporary farms to allow the players to repurchase the vehicles, equipment, animal pens, and other things they may have owned.
Could not register at friends server: #10001
I am getting these ones, not sure if its counting as an error
If you want more info on the errors I'd suggest making a support ticket with gportal themselves in their support area on the main site. My experience with their customer service has been pretty good
