Planting Grass seed consumption

Whats with the seed consumption while planting grass? Is that a bug or supposed to be like that? I planted a grass on a small field (48 or 49) behind starting farm in Elmcreek....must have used 5000-6000L of seed.

I'm hoping i get enough bales to cover the cost.

I haven't tried grass yet, but you only have to seed once, so you will cover the cost eventually

I see someone mention that some seeders use way more than others. It may be a bug.

It is in german, but just look up the table on the bottom, "Verbrauch" means consumption... see how some of the machines use waaay more than others. This may be a bug, i am not sure...

Might be a bug. I played today and let the ki plant grass on the field. The worker bought resources automatically. In a sudden, my money vanished in seconds. I tried it myself.
With the pöttinger (6m) and 2000 liters of seeds I got 104 meters far. This wasn't even one row of the field. Before it worked just perfect and than it went like crazy.

By any point, did you or anyone else use the bag lifter. The one where you can lift two big bags. Can't check the name, at work right now. After I used this one my have start bugging a lot.

There is a bjug with the two bag lifter
Could drop second bag without going real high to get way from the other bag

just use front loader fork and drive 4 bages... or just 2. I think it is better option

Once you plant grass, it keeps growing back, that is why it is so expensive.

Again, my seeder run out of seeds after little bit more than 100 meters. This would mean I have to refill my machine 40 times or more trip finish a small starter field.
And a field before the same size got completed without refilling the sender at all.
An helped was running at this time and I lost 30k found in less than five seconds.

Look at the guide above, dont use any of these machines that use so much. Look at the tabel at the bottom.

I noticed that all three seeders that use WAY TOO MUCH seed for grass are direct seeders. The rest are normal.
