Guidance Steering mod

Does anyone know if Devs of it will work to get it working in FS22? It haven't been updated in FS19 since 2020

Wopster's GPS mod? Yeah, he's working on it. And I'm pretty sure he's been regularly updating it. There was an update two weeks ago.

The devs at Giants have nothing to do with the Guidance steering mod.
It's created and maintained by Wopster.
I would be surprised if he doesn't update it for FS22. Just give him some time.

I also know that it might come from upsidedown modding since they just abandoned there game

Honestly it can take as long as it takes. Wopster has already released one mod for FS22 so we're sure he's still engaged. However, something like Guidance Steering might simply take longer, or Wopster may delay working on it due to waiting for GIANTS to release the first patch. Especially if that may cause a lot of changes.

If you are new to the franchise, please be patient with modders. Remember, those who mod are doing it in their own free time. Real life and the responsibilities that go along with it must always come first before our hobbies.

That is very well said. I am not a modder but a C# programmer hobbyist. Everyone who uses the free program I am writing understands that real life comes before hobby.

According to his facebook page he is working on it. LUA mods dont seem easy to convert like vehicles are.

Shouldn't take too long. There are one or two mods that will be released by him and somewhen after he could be done with it. Saw him playtesting and adjusting it. I'd say it's going to be weeks, not months.
