Distributing to a selling point?
If I own a spinnery and tailor shop, I can have my fabric sent from the spinnery to the tailor shop, but if I own a supermarket, can I distribute the clothes from the tailor shop to the market for sale?

No, you can set the tailor to automatically sell the clothes in the setting (you can store, send to or auto sell). Placeable sellpoints works like the one placed on the map.

If you set the production to automatically sell it will sell at the best price avaible in the moment, it won't sell at a specific sellpoint.

If you set the clothes in the tailor shop to distributing, what will it do?

I'll take my question further. What would be the purpose of placing a selling point? Your money, your land for something that exists already.

AFAIK, you can't buy the Supermarket.
You can refine goods several times before sale, increasing their value, but the 'retail' product you will have to sell manually. So if you want to make Chocolate, you will need a sugar mill, and a dairy. Cakes need a grain mill, bakery, dairy and sugar mill..... All these productions take time to ramp up, so it will be several months - but then the pallets appear non-stop.

You can add further places where you can sell stuff. For example i'm waiting for a cotton/general purpose sell point because on the french map there is only one (the spinnery) and i own it.

I need a sellpoint because the spinnery takes too much time to process cotton and i want to sell the excess material.

The GrocerYMart in Elmcreek can't be bought, but you can place a Supermarket in the sell points tab in construction. Basically the same thing, which is why I was curious as the reason to ever place one.

That would make sense. I bought the Dairy and then sold it and it disappeared. Fortunately there were other places to sell my milk.

Why not just build another Spinnery?
