If you set the production to automatically sell it will sell at the best price avaible in the moment, it won't sell at a specific sellpoint.
You can refine goods several times before sale, increasing their value, but the 'retail' product you will have to sell manually. So if you want to make Chocolate, you will need a sugar mill, and a dairy. Cakes need a grain mill, bakery, dairy and sugar mill..... All these productions take time to ramp up, so it will be several months - but then the pallets appear non-stop.
I need a sellpoint because the spinnery takes too much time to process cotton and i want to sell the excess material.
