courseplay and follow me mods
just a quick question when is courseplay coming to 22, i find courseplay particular usefull as in fs19 where you could outline a field on say a no mans land map and that the courseplay would then plough in that particular field you would create. courseplay and the follow me mod would be great to have in 22 as im a lazy farmer.

Courseplay is and has been, for a while now, available on the github.

You don't really need FollowMe as you can direct your equipment anywhere using the ai helpers. On mod maps that don't have accurate traffic splines you can set a few Autodrive courses from your fields or the shop.

Do you know if it will be available on the FS modhub eventually? I dont trust 3rd party sites.

Some of us are used to using the FollowMe mod. Im surprised that is part of the vanilla package, just as Seasons is now.

I am sure it will be, down the road. As far as 3rd party sites go this one is pretty safe. Never had an issue downloading straight from the github. It is posted by the developer of the mod and noone else. Getting it straight from the horses moputh so to speak. It may be a while before it is uploaded to the ModHub as it is changing pretty consistently at the moment.

and the ai is so stupid unless you are on a square field or within a few feet of your destination its virtually unusable

There are some mod maps where the ai are very reliable from point A to point B. I only use in-game ai to move equipment. For fieldwork and off loading it is strictly Autodrive and Courseplay.

Using the games built in mod is not the same thing as follow me. For one the option to send your equipment places doesn't work well on most maps, and the follow me mod was useful say for example running something like a harvester with a tractor and baler behind you.
