But for every single crop so far, I've seen the train be the highest price, which is annoying.
Firstly it only stores 12 months history and one value for each month. This means if November is normally the best month to sell as soon as you move into November it overrides the previous November figure
Also, the price it stores isn't the highest price for the month. Each hour it takes an average of all the selling points prices and stores it. So firstly at midnight in a new month it gets the average price and stores it. Then when you get to 1am it gets the latest average but also then gets the average from midnight and averages the two.
So basically the figure stored is an average of all the prices for that product at the start of each hour for the month.
Then for it to show you the highest and lowest values its just whichever of the 12 months highs and lows were best and worst. But it's all averages so it's at best a rough guide but pretty useless in itself.
I have started on a mod that will store the pricing details and give you a proper historical high, show you your stock levels, current highest price from all selling points, previous highest, current stock value, differences etc. I'm not sure if I'll release the mod or not though
At least you have an idea of what their screen is showing you now...
currently the one major thing I'm missing from the price fluc view is a current month marker..
