FS22 Mods folder location

Hi, I cannot seem to find my 'mods' or 'savegame' folder on my computer, I have researched many YouTube videos but none have helped so far...

I have tried setting 'Folder View' to show hidden files/folders but to no avail.

My FS22 current location is: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Farming Simulator 22

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

<System Drive>:\Users\<your user>\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\mods

Thanks, but there is not even a 'My Games' folder there, I am on Windows 11 but, the game was installed onto my D: drive as it was larger than my C: drive

Type typing:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\mods

Into File Explorer and see if it resolves

Right click on the game in your library, it has an option for brows local files, should take you right to the file loc.

This might be a new Windows 11 feature but it sounds like you type that in to the search box on the top right.

Type it where is says "Quick access" the address bar at the top left

Right click on the game in your library, it has an option for brows local files, should take you right to the file loc.

The mods folder is not in the same place as the game files, the game uses your Documents folder in your user profile.

I can't even find the 'in-game' mods that are installed... (Govt Subsidy etc...)

Try to write "22" and then search. Now You get forexample savegames. Klik on that folder and there is also mods folder.

Search forexample "FS22_Stihl_RE581" which is pressurewasher. That's on that folder.

I can't believe this... I searched 'My PC, C: and D:' nothing, I think I will try an uninstall and re-install into the directory it gives me instead of me changing directory... this is so confusing.

Thank you all, I found the folder 'pdlc' it's where i need to place the .zip files... once again thank you

OK, but just so you know the pdlc folder is for paid DLC not mods
